It’s the season to be gifting! And as a little Christmas present to you all, we’ve released a new feature: World Anvil community stickers! You can now award digital stickers to your favorite articles to show your appreciation for amazing work… but be quick—stickers are limited!

How can I give World Anvil community stickers?

Using digital stickers is as easy as using physical ones!

  1. Go to an article you’ve enjoyed reading (you can choose one from WorldEmber).
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the article and click on the “Award Sticker” button.
  3. Choose your favorite sticker to add it there!

The stickers an article has, as well as the username of the Anvilites that awarded them, will be displayed publicly at the bottom of the article. So go forth and share the joy of stickers! 🥳

Who can give stickers?

Everyone can bask in the glory of stickers, including Free users! But to give stickers, you will need to use your Anvil Coins—which you get automatically every day you log in. Freemen get 1 coin per daily log in, and the higher your Guild tier, the more coins you earn each day! So spend your coins wisely! (Or don’t, it’s not real money after all!)

But you need to be quick! World Anvil community stickers are limited, both in quantity and time. For example, all our current stickers (displayed above) will go away in January or whenever they run out (whatever comes first). So if you want to give out some stickers… do it as soon as you see them!

What stickers can I give?

The selection of available stickers will change from time to time—they’ll often be themed around the events we’re running. At the time of writing this blog post, the available stickers are about WorldEmber and the holiday season (see the screenshot above!)

Check the stickers box regularly to see what’s new! And in a future update, they’ll also show up in your World Anvil user profile in a special section, so everyone can see the presents you’ve given and recieved!
