I am so very excited to talk to you today about a new project that came onto my radar, Stibbles Codex of Companions is a 5th Edition supplement providing unique animal companions, familiars, and pets. Apart from that it is also a rich resource of how to use those companions at your table and comes with a list of new spells, feats and game mechanics!
Ever since I started playing Pathfinder I became so excited about the idea that you can have a companion that can, in fact, be useful, that it will grow in skill as my character would and that it can provide me with a competitive advantage that will separate my character from just being “Another Ranger” or fighter or whatever!
Stibbles Codex of Companions seems to be bringing some of this magic back to DnD 5e .. and then some! Apart from absolutely beautiful art and interesting ideas Stibbles Codex of Companions will allow young and old players of DnD5e to make their characters unique and will provide you with new ways of exploring the game and creative solutions to problems by using the special properties of your companion.
Why is Stibbles Codex of Companions something you should be checking out?
Well the codex is authored by someone very close to our hearts, Runesmith. An amazing YouTube creator with a knack for good humor and puns which I feel like they will be translating quite well in this project. Also, the project seems to have a very solid team of illustrators and designers behind it which means that what we will be getting on our hands will probably be something you want to lick (Mlem mlem mlem – as Janet would have said). You can understand a lot about the final quality of a publication by the way the Kickstarter page is setup.
How can I get my hands on these cuties?
