One of the biggest worldbuilding challenges of the year is just around the corner—and you can help make it even more awesome! Want to sponsor a prompt for Summer Camp 2024 and see your name in lights? You’ll get a crack at being a worldbuilding judge, all while giving back to the amazing World Anvil community. If you’re interested in becoming one of the Summer Camp community sponsors, read on!
HOW ARE SUMMER CAMP COMMUNITY SPONSORS CHOSEN?
Summer Camp community sponsors are the amazing beans that judge entries for the various prompts in the challenge. If you become a community sponsor, you’ll get the chance to pick a winner from the list! Becoming a community sponsor is really easy—just follow these simple steps:
- Access the Google form.
- Read carefully the instructions at the top.
- Fill in all the form fields.
- Submit the form.
Note that being a community sponsor doesn’t exclude you from any other prizes! You can’t be the winner of your own prompt, but you can still win in any other prompt or in the community raffle.
We’ll contact you by email before July to let you know which template and prompt wave you’ve been allotted. And then it’s time to get reading! Additionally, judges will be able to sort by competitor status—this means you will only have to judge those who have opted in rather than everyone.

WHY SHOULD YOU BECOME A SPONSOR?
As a sponsor, you’re allowed to judge entries however you want. You could read them all or filter by certain parameters, and you can decide what’s most important to you. We love our community sponsors, so you can expect shout-outs left and right. Your World Anvil name will appear on the Summer Camp challenge page, next to the category you’re sponsoring. And we’ll make sure to shout you out during the opening or closing streams, as well as in the big Awards Ceremony! But most importantly, with your judging, you’re giving back to our amazing and supportive community, one of the nicest places on the internet!
