World Anvil is a big toolset, there is no question about that. This means that creating menus that still remains easy to navigate and not many levels deep is a great challenge.
Considering that World Anvil will only become bigger and only this year we will be adding a great number of features we had to find a way to make sure that World Anvil remains easily and quickly navigable.
Thus, the Artemis Spotlight was born. Artemis is in a way to “cheat” the navigation, it’s a cheat because when you learn how to use Artemis you will no longer need to ever touch the navigation again.
The concept behind Artemis is: “Create a way to go from place A to place B with only using your keyboard and in less time, without having to remember where things are”
You can activate Artemis by clicking Ctrl+Enter and then using any of the verbs plus the place you want to go or the piece of content you want to access.
Artemis will allow you to open the forms to create any new article, category, map, history, timeline and I will keep on adding on this as new features are introduced.
An important point here is that you don’t even have to type the whole of the very just the first letter of any of the verbs followed by a space will do.
So, there you have it. Press Ctrl+Enter and navigate, create or view anything and everything on World Anvil!
If you find something that it’s missing or something you’d like me to add! Do let me know! I’d love to do so!
This is fantastic and I’ve already been using it a ton!! Nice going and keep up the good work!
Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
